Once called Lath Street. The building on the right was formerly a public house called The Valiant Sailor. The inn sign showed Jack Crawford who served at the battle of Camperdown in 1797. He nailed the ships colours to the top of the mast so that could not be pulled down by the enemy. In the centre of the picture is a Georgian house of 1750 built by the Everard family.
